im a pisces.
Open Adventure
Pisces Daily Horoscope
You could feel restless today and desire more space or freedom. Perhaps you dream about adventure or travel and yearn for new or exciting experiences. If you can’t physically get away from your normal routine, you might consider expanding your mind by exploring new intellectual horizons. You could explore options for learning in your local community or seek out new activities that will allow you to grow. You might think about dance classes, art classes, or lectures on topics that interest you. More important, if you can approach every experience today as a potential adventure, even your existing circumstances will seem new and exciting.
A positive attitude and an open mind can make every experience meaningful. When we become dissatisfied or bored with our existing circumstances, we often feel the need to do something drastic. In reality, however, the only thing we really need to do is shift the way we see our world. Just choosing to see our surroundings with new eyes allows us to enjoy our experiences with more depth and meaning. We realize that it’s impossible to be bored when there is so much to see and explore around us. At the same time, we can also choose to seek out new, exciting experiences because our minds are open. You can meet your need for adventure today by simply choosing to explore your world with an open mind and heart.

Sarah Palin stumped by third grader, doesn't know what the vice president does
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
Wednesday, October 22nd 2008, 2:54 PM
She's contending for arguably the second most powerful title in the country - if not the world. But it seems Sarah Palin could use a brush-up on the vice-president's job description.
Asked by an elementary school student what a vice president does, Republican candidate Sarah Palin responded that the vice president is the president's "team mate" but also "runs the Senate" and "can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes."
While aimed at a typical 8-year-old, Palin's explanations oversimplify the U.S. Constitution's definition of the duties of the vice president and don't match the office's traditional role in Senate activities.
RELATED: RNC SPENT $150K ON PALIN MAKEOVER
The vice president's main duty is to replace the president if the president dies, resigns, is removed from office or can no longer carry out his or her duties for other reasons. The Constitution names the vice president as the president of the Senate but allows the vice president to cast a vote only to break a tie.
The vice president, as a member of the executive branch of the government, has no official role in developing legislation or determining how it is presented to or debated by the Senate, which is part of the legislative branch. In all meaningful ways, the leader of the majority party runs the Senate.
Traditionally, the vice president appears in the Senate for ceremonial events and in case of a tie vote. Although the vice president can preside over the Senate, vice presidents have left that day-to-day chore to senators themselves. In the past, each president has determined the role of the vice president in an administration.
The subject of the vice president's duties came up as Palin sat for an interview with KUSA-TV in Denver, which has a feature called "Question from the Third Grade." The interviewer asked, "Brandon Garcia wants to know, 'What does the vice president do?'"
"That's a great question, Brandon, and a vice president has a really great job, because not only are they there to support the president's agenda, they're like the team member, the team mate to that president," Palin said.
"But also, they're in charge of the United States Senate, so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom. And it's a great job and I look forward to having that job," she said.

the night is young.
hello.
so i just finished watching the brandon vera fight. im glad to say that he had a few dope hits on the guy... but at the same time i wished he followed through more. im happy to say that he landed his penguin kick really well. hella funny...cause i just learned that kick at my martial arts class on tuesday. good stuff. gooo penguin kicks!
on another note, i fixed up my igoogle page. i love pandora! haha...the mix they made me was simply on point. it gives me that feel good feeling. i feel like i made this list or something on my playlist for my ipod. but in essence, i didnt. in a way, they read my mind.
friday was a blast! i had so much fun with dope artists...even though we were all working on our projects. it felt good to surround me around folks who are artistically inclined. it not only inspires me..but it challenges myself to be on top of my art. my goal is to have an art show...one of these days i will.
i miss a lot of things lately... i guess the movie nick and nora triggered a lot of those memories that led to me missing things, people and places. btw, the movie was super cute..had its corny moments..but i thought it was cute. back to why ive been missing things + more lately is because im walking through my life patiently for me to become successful. sounds strange right? but, ive decided that if i walk through my life, it will be longer and more meaningful rather than short and fast. not to say that short and fast lives arent meaningful...im just saying that im taking each day as a step closer to success. i have one year (more or less left) of college. then im off to the "real" world. truthfully, i have mentioned that ive tasted the "real" world a few times...and i truly miss it. i miss having my own place really...i miss all my friends in ny and sd. also, i miss my friends in the bay...weve come so busy that we squeeze each other in when we can. my friends are doing big things and im soooo happy for them. it amazes me that my friends are super bright folks who make the most out of their lives. its great to know that i am a part of their lives. also, i miss ny commuting...it was tiring at times but it was well worth it. i learned so much in ny...and commuting was a big part of being independent. imma list off a few things that i always miss about ny:
- my train ride into the city across the bridge (NQD lines)
- my study sessions at cafes that i love...i forgot the names but i know where they are at.
- juicy buns and chinatown ice cream factory
- philippine forum
- beautiful/attractive women and men everywhere
- stepping on leaves during the fall seasons
- snow..i love snow...yes there were times that i disliked it because it was super cold. but without a doubt i still love it.
- grand central. rockefeller center. soho.
- food shopping.
those are the only things that come to my mind right now..there are sooo much more.
ok..night is getting late. ok not soo late. but yea, its late.
good night.

its been awhile
so, ive been busy. school is beginning to kick ass... i have a lot of things to do within the next two weeks. blah. its all good though... im learning and its refreshing to know that this is what i want to be focusing in on...which is sociology, more so concentrated on the aspects of social work. with that in hand, ive been thinking about my future and how close it is for me to graduate. i mean, i have about a year or so left.. but truthfully i know it will come real fast... im 23. i will be 24 in a matter of five months. it also puts me in check in what i want out of certain aspects of my life. i havent really talked about relationships a lot on my blog, but i find this as a a safe place for me to vent.
so, with my past relationship things went well, had its flaws here and there...but overall things were great. we talked a lot about our futures together and how we wanted things to be. it was nice to know that we could talk about it openly. i trusted him with my feelings...it felt real good. unfortunately, the relationship did not last due to problems we had and he felt that it wasnt healthy. it wasnt healthy, but i always wanted to try and push things into something positive. sometimes, i just dont get what i want. but im glad that things happen for the better..and things definitely got better. i became stronger...more focused about what i want. which is real good...
my current state of mind exists around a few priorities(no particular order as they always change and evolve at many points of my life):
-health
-family
-friends
-education (college and outside of college, constant learning - progress)
-earl (my current relationship)
i have a few flaws and insecurities that i need to work on... i gotta keep checking myself to stay true to myself and/or REAL.

bang bang bang. good night.

culinary classes + pilates
so, my homegirl kristia and i were in my car going back to her place this one day.. i hella remember hearing that one song by jaheim - ive changed. hella funny..check out these lyrics:
Pull out the fine wine glasses
Dinner in bed (went and took some culinary classes)
Gotta stay sexy for you baby
Tighten up my body, workin' on my ghetto pilates
I'm not goin' out tonight (tonight)
We can hit the sofa,
cuddle up, satellite service
Ohh baby whatever, let me accommodate ya
Is there anything you like for me to change
hahahaha...sorry we were hella cracking up..we were like i like the idea of taking culinary classes but i dont know about all that pilates.. its all good. whatever works for you jaheim!
so, i started doing some activities with the youth at the center. im happy to say i had a great turn out. imma see the youth again tomorrow and do some more activities. they really enjoyed it and i hope to grow with a lot more. on my artist collective note, i really need to start sketching some ideas that i want to put together for the project. i have a meeting coming up and i need to show something that i have been working on. other than that, i changed a couple of classes and simmered down to 12 units total this quarter. all sociology major based classes...that all have me intrigued and learning constantly, which i am very grateful for.
my weekend went well, did hella errands on saturday. helped out kristia with her "prends and pamily party" which turned out to be a hit! i had sooo much fun. then on sunday, i had lunch with the fam in pacifica. watched the CHARGERS vs. raiders game... and the CHARGERS killed it within a matter of 2 minutes. LT got his touchdown in and the whole team came through in the end. after the game, i helped get some groceries for dinner. had some bomb dinner! omg...here is the menu:
hummus with pita bread
mixed greens with a asian vinaigrette dressing
salmon with salt, pepper and lemon
balsamic butterfly chicken
chocolate lava cake paired with fresh raspberries and a light coating of powdered sugar
i participated as a "sous chef"...it was so much fun but truthfully it got tiring. i like plating. its more fun making the food look pretty. other than that, i had a great time..learned some good tips when cutting chicken and preparing the grill.
today i will be back on my workout plan... five - six days a week. i feel as though im getting chubby again. i like being thick sometimes..but not too thick. oh, and im debating if i should get a season pass for northstar and sierra this year. my homie hella wants me to get one. maybe...just maybe.
dope book: brooklyn street art (it was a gift)

look...more pikachus! i feel as though they are getting popular.

obama + filipino community
Obama's sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, shares a message with the Filipino American community about her excitement for Barack Obama's candidacy for President. The AAPI community has a critical role to play in this election and by getting involved in this election we can bring about real change in our country.

art + more
trust your struggle. foreal foreal.

so, on sunday i was able to go to the sf moma to see the frida exhibit. but, i also was able to enjoy the rest of the random art at the museum. so here is the one piece of art that i thought was really cool.

since there was no photography allowed in the frida exhibit, i was able to take a picture of the banner that lead to the exhibit. i am glad to say that i enjoyed her art. i loved the colors she used and the way she expresses her thoughts and feelings through her strokes and colors. i was enthralled by her self-portraits and how she painted where she was at in her life at that single moment. The room full of her self-portraits after her divorce, was the best. She definitely changed the colors into a more darker tone selection and her facial expressions changes through this room, portraying her rage and sorrow through these tough times.

overall, i enjoyed sf moma. some of that art was not so much my taste, but i still appreciated it. It gives me inspiration to keep going with my art.
on saturday, i was suppose to go out with my homegirl but then i had to change my plans for a friend's birthday at bambuddha lounge. unfortunately, i wasnt able to go to bambuddha cause cover was 20 bucks and i ended up chillen with folks. i had a great time actually. we drank wine, ate some yummy filipino food, rocked out on rock band and made magic with magic mic. hella fun! omg...the night was well worth staying in.
oh and here is diesel again, he likes to chill with me from time to time. haha..i caught him doing this. hella funny...

school starts on wednesday...its gonna be a busy quarter.

last night
haha. last night was too much fun...as much as it was chill. it was a good night. i began my evening with a productive meeting with some good folks. then, i had dinner with earl and kerri at i love sushi. the food was really good... four rolls, tea and green tea ice cream. yummy!
then, my homegirl and i hella made the night worthwhile. so, first we hit up namu and chilled with the dj for a bit. drank some beer and got a light buzz. then, we went to skylark lounge..and saw my homegirl's friend. hahahahahaha...it was too funny. we were gonna go get up to dance and then we saw her friend and hella sat back down as if we were playing musical chairs or something. i felt bad for the guy who wanted to take our seat. but you just had to be there...then, we headed out to the elbo room and enjoyed some music with a few drinks.
overall, the night went well.
oh, and i hit up the musiq soulchild concert. it was sooo dope! i am glad to say that musiq is a really good performer. he did a quick dress change...and when he came back he sang the song for another few minutes. that was longest song i have ever heard at a concert. he sang TEACHME for at least a good 15 minutes. haha. but other than that, he has a great voice. i would see him again. i dont know about his new single..i dont really like it. but he sang this one song called SO BEAUTIFUL and it sounded really nice.

im happy to say that i have finished my painting! i really like it. all i need to do is gloss it up. other than that, im happy to say that art and i are in love once again. lol. our relationship sustains through the good and bad times. i love art. =)
i thought this piece was sooo dope! check el mac out: http://www.elmac.net/

i hella want to be painted or muralized. lol. one day...just to mark my spot in this world. for me, art is like a living remembrance of someone. it lives on. just like an author and the books he or she has created. or even a poet with the countless words slabbed on a piece of paper. it lives no matter what... i think thats how i want to be remembered. through the people i have shared experiences with and through the many different mediums of my art. i want to mark my spot.
glad to say, ive been offered to teach art at the filipino community center. im sooo excited. imma try and teach some stencil graffiti art. oh and ive been invited to join this artist collective that is trying to put on a show in october or november. im happy to know that i will able to grow and share experiences with other dope folks who love art. im learning how to embrace my art cause i know it will always be a part of me...always.

glad to say, ive been offered to teach art at the filipino community center. im sooo excited. imma try and teach some stencil graffiti art. oh and ive been invited to join this artist collective that is trying to put on a show in october or november. im happy to know that i will able to grow and share experiences with other dope folks who love art. im learning how to embrace my art cause i know it will always be a part of me...always.
dementia.
its a scary thing to see someone deteriorate. earlier this week i visited my auntie who has been diagnosed with dementia. its so crazy to see her this way. i would never have expected her to become like this. it hurts actually. how she started losing herself. she cant really take care of herself. she stays at home with no one really. her daughter brings her to her appointments and tries to spend time with her when shes not at work or whatnot. its just sad. it makes me think about life and how precious it is and how i need to be more aware of myself and my actions. i really dont know how she lost herself. she has trouble getting out of a chair, repeats everything like five times and walks unbalanced at times. it makes me think twice about the simple things our brain helps us do. the funny thing is that she knows how to hula hoop and shes hella good at it. the sad thing though is that she keeps falling cause she sometimes rushes or gets too unbalanced. she will get better... i know it. she just needs more interaction and people in her life. cause right now shes alone. she needs people to help her get through this. so, when my mom goes and visits i will too.
life is short. let's embrace it and make change when we can.

automatic responses.
so, today i had lunch with one of my really good friends in the city. i had the tomato basil soup with some wheat bread baguette slices. sooo good! my friend pointed out how people who work so much become "automatic." haha. sounds weird but its sooo true. so, my friend asked for a a lid for his cup, and the guy responded "enjoy!" haha. how is my friend gonna enjoy a lid? lol. its crazy how people get so accustomed to saying things over and over that they no longer notice what they are saying. i must admit that i have done this a few times..especially when i go to the gym. the guy at the desk says "have a good work out." i respond "you too!" lol. when, i know he is gonna stand there checking people in and fold towels. its interesting how we say things and dont catch it until after we catch it. i think i need to work on that. just the part where you know you need to say something back..when really you dont know what you are saying. haha does that make sense? ha. whatever if you get it you get it. if not..oh well. haha.

my monday.
i started off my week well. ive been chillen all day. did some random errands around my house. worked out for a good hour. minimized my intake of foods today. i feel like im getting chubby, so imma be watching what i eat this week. i know this weekend imma splurge..but not too too much. well at least thats what i hope to do.
so there are a couple of upcoming concerts i want to see... musiq soulchild and common/n.e.r.d. the common concert is kinda bank though...ive never seen him live. im sure hell be good though. but i really want to see musiq. i was suppose to see him at a secret concert in ny..but there was maximum capacity or something like that. ughhh..it hella sucked. i was soooo hyped too! what to do..what to do...
im so mismatched right now...its not too cute actually. just imagine a plaid black and white hello kitty pj bottom paired with a yellow "philadelphia is for lovers" tshirt. haha..to make it even better..my hair is hella high up like a korean or japanese girl from one of those romantic movies. haha.
i was soo good yesterday..i drove by kidrobot. i was going to buy a dunny. i didnt end up buying the box cause i know i need to make sensible decisions right now. so, i was soooo tempted to buy just one. but if you really know me...i cant just buy one. imma consumer. its bad. i need to work on that part of me. i mean, i dont go shopping like crazy as i used to do when i lived in ny. but, i do like to spoil myself once in awhile. it just feels good too look cute. or at least try to.
i miss my best friend. come baccckkkkk please! i know todays blog is random. i just have all these random thoughts running through my head and dont know how to deal with them right now. there is a part of me that wants to go to sd for a few days. road trip perhaps? marlin tacos? carne asada fries? fatty horchata? harney sushi? haha..but most of all..its the folks that drive me to visit - jama, riane, alexie, devin jay and more. but mainly..jama cause she is real good company. i think imma decide by the end of this week. see if i can pull something. i dont have too much funds..but i could hustle my way perhaps.
but here are some random pictures from my weekend.

Your Spirit’s Ambitions
Pisces Daily Horoscope
You might feel ambitious today, which might mean that you are more focused on your goals. This drive to succeed might make you more determined than ever to put your energy into your enterprising dreams. While ambition is necessary to realize our goals, today you might wish to reflect on the spiritual nature of your drive. You may, for example, want to consider if your hopes are based in a desire that is deeper than material satisfaction, such as the goal of helping or healing other people. If your goals are not grounded in something spiritual, try to reassess your priorities so that your overall motivation for success is aligned with the true calling of your spirit. You could find that by doing so, you pave the way for a deeper and richer level of achievement.
When our goals arise from the spiritual part of ourselves, the success we have is much more rewarding. It is easy for us to want to put our energy into making our immediate lives more comfortable. Having something tangible to work toward often gives us a sense of accomplishment when we attain our end result. Driving ourselves in this way alone, however, will often leave us feeling empty once we reach our goals, unless we have something more long-lasting and precious to work toward. By using the truest desires of your spirit to propel you forward today, you will have a greater feeling of fulfillment once you reach your goals.

september break!
so, i officially kicked off my september break on friday night. i went to go eat at this one whole in the wall spot in the sunset. had bomb korean food paired with soju and ob. then my friend and i headed out to meet some folks on broadway at impala lounge. danced a bit and called it a night.
saturday, i had a dentist appointment. it took hella long...caused me to be a bit grumpy. i didnt have breakfast really and i was sore so i had to eat something soft. blah. i got cheered up though...with some food and boba. sooo good! i enjoyed my food by fort funston kinda. sat on a bench and chilled. then, i took a long nap, got ready and headed out to vallejo for a friend's family's house party. watched the ufc fight and watched lidell fall to the floor. then went to another party...had hella fun.
i finally slept in. and now im chillen... kinda hungry. i wish the chargers game was aired here. fox is only airing the niners game right now. i need satelite tv. ok, i dont need it..but it would be nice. im hella following the score online tho...
so i have a whole two weeks or so off. i have no major plans yet. except my adventure to monterey next weekend. it will be a good get away...im actually hella hyped about it. but during the weekdays i dont have anything planned. i know ill be working out hella. ive been kinda slacking off. i know that ive only been working out like three or four times a week. i usually work out like six days a week. i feel myself getting chubby. i know that imma save drinking and partying for the weekends. at least try to. im thinking about a getaway trip to sd? but the only problem is that my best friend will be in school and pretty busy. so im not sure. i know i want to go somewhere. but dont know where...ill do my usual museum hopping and maybe squeeze in some surfing/boogie boarding sometime. i havent done that in awhile. holler at me if you have any ideas though...
good luck to the san diego supaaa chargers!!! go LT baby!!!

on another note, check out my girl's blog..she breaks it down: http://doorknockers.blogspot.com/

Trust Leads To Closeness
Pisces Daily Horoscope
You may feel like opening yourself up to others which could bring you to a greater level of intimacy both with yourself and with another person today. While it may seem difficult at first, if you can learn to trust yourself and your feelings, you may in turn find that it is easier to trust other people. Maybe this would be a good time to work first on creating a warm, loving and accepting attitude for yourself. If you can, you might visualize another version of yourself standing across from you. As you see this person in your mind’s eye, think about what you love and cherish about them. Imagine yourself accepting everything about this person into your life with a warm heart. Once you are able to do so, you can repeat this exercise with those who are closest to you today. This may help you to truly open your heart and embrace others more deeply and completely.
Being able to trust and love others is an extension of our ability to accept ourselves unconditionally. For some of us it can seem easier to reach out to other people and offer ourselves fully to them, but unless we have the same relationship with ourselves, our love is not really as pure and total as it could be. Learning to love ourselves, however, is an important first step toward cultivating intimacy in our relationships. By developing love and trust in yourself, you will have no difficulty in fostering warmth, understanding and confidence in your dearest relationships today.

happy birthday!
happy birthday sister!
so, today is my sister's birthday...it is crazy how time flies. the fam had a great dinner at zen bistro in millbrae. its a new spot that just opened up a few weeks ago. i must say that the food is on point. a bit pricey but the quality is really good. i feel like a heffer right now.
im gonna go to the gym in a bit and burn some calories off. i think i ate too much.
as for my day, it went really well. i had a productive morning... i finished up some thoughts on my paper. went to all three classes and my tutoring appointment. got some gas. did a couple of errands and headed home. i was sooo tired. i knocked out for a good hour. headed to dinner with the fam and now im back home chillen trying to digest. im glad that i got my appetite back, but at the same time i need to watch what i eat cause i feel like im getting chubby again.
i have one more day of lectured classes. then, next week i have three finals and two papers due. the workload is not so bad...all manageable. im not stressing about it too much cause i will know what the questions will be on two of my exams. my one exam is a bit vague, but hopefully the professor will elaborate on it on wednesday.
im super excited for thursday! the bff is coming to the bay! yeeee! haha. then we are off to the art show: trust your hustle mural tour with some folks. friday: maybe poleng or gossip lounge? saturday: tahoe perhaps? sunday: dim sum or a nice brunch in the city..and then bff goes home =(.
i really like this artist: kozyndan. he work may look a bit crazy, but his art is so detailed. it makes me appreciate it even more so.
he also incorporates cute bunnies in some japanese nature schemes.

coincidence.
"When you live your life with an appreciation of coincidences and their meanings, you connect with the underlying field of infinite possibilities. Whatever relationships you have in your life at this moment, are precisely the ones you need in your life at this moment. There is a hidden meaning behind all events, and this hidden meaning is serving your own evolution."

change.
ive been having a great week. a really really good one. sometimes i get scared though. how things have been doing so well in my life...but like most things in my life..my situation is a good one...a happy one. and i find that i deserve the best. why not? some people always second guess themselves and when they find something good they freak out and bail. but for me im just embracing everything that is happening to me...im just going with the waves...and so far the swells have been great. choppy at times..but a good choppy swell where im always learning and always connecting on so many different levels. i really enjoy good company...and positive folks.
im just encountering a problem with myself..and it sucks. but at the same time is an awakening into adulthood (again). i say again because i used to live in new york and that was sooo much fun. just to taste independence for a couple of years. ill admit that i got some financial help from my mom...but everything else i was making what i wanted to happen..happen. it was crazy how i accomplished all that in just two years. i grew from an unstable growing woman into a little bit more stable growing ever changing woman. and it feels incredible. i still have many experiences to gain and learn from. and im not gonna take any of those experiences for granted...whether they be negative or positive ones..i just know that i need to make the most out of my life. enjoy it. live it.
bottom line, i need to MOVE OUT! haha. its not that i do not love my family or anything. i just need room for me to grow in that spectrum. im just feeling a little suffocated at times. i love my mom and sister..i know that they look out for me a lot. and i totally appreciate that. but at the same time, i just want to do my own thing and not have to worry about them worrying. im still growing and i have a lot to learn. but i really need to move out. get my sh-t together. be fully independent once again. its been a little bit over a year living at home..its been great. i love it..but i need space.
time to breathe. analyze and organize thoughts. ill blog more later. ciao.

moded
hi hi! so i was sooo moded the other day. i was hella hypin' up the trust your hustle mural tour..and thought that it was last night. turns out that its not until next week! hahahahaha. im stupid. i felt even more dumb cause i invited folks to go...and they were getting ready for it too. hahaha. its worth the wait tho. i know the show will be a good one.
other than that, last night was hella funny. i went with some folks to go to holy cow. turned out to be hella packed so we ended up leaving the spot. i saw my ex and his friend in line. hahaha.. it was kinda awkward but not. so, as we left the spot we got hella hungry and stopped by seniores for a pizza. then headed out to one of the folk's house. it was hella chill and funny. i got clowned on cause i play mario kart across the world. lol. its actually really fun...if you ever tried. the folks that are on that are hella good though. i always lose. =(
my plans for the day are to have lunch with the cuzzo. study and do a paper/s. work out and possibly head out to a house party tonight. i havent been to a house party for a minute. i remember on my eighteenth birthday i got soooo wasted at a folk's house in sd. hella funny. it makes me hella think about how fun my friends are... i miss them lots!
omg, one more week til i see my bff! totally excited. i dont know even know what will be doing but im just stoked that shes coming up. it will be a good closer for my summer of 2008.

ive been having the craziest weekend ever. ok maybe not too crazy...but i just cant explain whats happening to me right now. im not overwhelmed with how things are...but im just grateful and appreciative of what i have right now. i just know that im in a really good place...and i deserve to be in a good place.
ive been soooo happy. its just been too good...im not trying over analyze the situation right now. but im just going with it. and so far its been great. =)
sorry if you feel lost reading this..haha.. im just ranting. on another note, ill be seeing raphael saadiq and janelle monae tomorrow night. im stoked. ill be going with my downe folks, straight folks and some girlies. it will be a good night.
im suppose to be doing a two-page paper right now. haha. but im not. im laggin big time. its not gonna take me very long. im just being super lazy. i think i want to nap. i had a fun fun fun night.
im gonna try and give my love - art, another try. i set my easel back up and put up a blank canvas hoping something will come to mind for me to paint. i miss art. i think its time for me to rekindle our relationship...haha. we are long overdue.
more posts to come later. i have pictures from the rock the bells for your viewing pleasure. but until then. ingat!

foggy morning.
ive been having a great weekend. so, last night i went to poleng lounge. it was ok. saw some folks. my friend and i were hella tired. that same day we went too rock the bells. omg...NAS is a f-in beast. hes soooooo f-in hot. lol. my friend and i danced the day away. it was great. good music and a good friend was definitely a plus in my day.
i felt really bad for this girl sitting next to us. her man was checking us out and she did not look happy. she looked soooo upset. if i was her i would have told him that i wanted to go home. stupid guys.
friday night i ended up going to minna. it was dope...i wish i got to look more at the art. i was a little tipsy so i didnt really dance or anything. it was really chill. i liked it.
btw, the performances at rock the bells were all great. mos def was the most interesting one though. his set didnt make any sense. but he did his thing. lol. good stuff yo.
two more weeks or so of school. sooooo happy that its almost done. yeeee!

on another note, the cousin is back. we watched a movie today. i might be going out tonight with him...but not so sure yet. i really want summer quarter to be done with. dont get me wrong, i like school but i just want to enjoy my summer without having to worry about turning stuff in. im glad i only have a few more weeks left. then i have september break! =) i hella want to go somewhere but i dont know where.
oh and im looking forward to the end of this month. family and bff are to visit.

the dark knight.
so, i just finished watching batman: the dark knight with the homie. omg it was sooooo good. i hella need me a batman. haha. joker was well played. if you havent watched it yet, i suggest you do so.
other than that, school has been keeping me busy. ive been encountering a few problems here and there, but so far its been manageable. my professor gave me a good idea of keeping track of my dreams - a dream journal. ive experienced some crazy dreams where i dont really know how to interpret them or if it could be some kind of sign in my life. who knows?
ive been thinking a million thoughts per day and its been stressing me out. i think i need a breather... imma try to make a day out of it tomorrow. hopefully.
i miss my best friend a whole lot. it sucks cause shes miles away, but i know i can count on her when i need her the most. i wish i got to see her more often this summer...too bad its coming to an end. it gives me a good reason to go and visit san diego, or for her to come up to the bay to visit.
its time to clean up and go to sleep. its been a very long long day. nightoooo

this is a hella dope incase by krink. ooo weee. i wants one. but i dont need it.
im sore. i worked out a lot this week. my calves are definitely sore! i couldnt even play wii fit for too long cause of that. lol. so far, summer has been great. i went to hawai'i, disneyland, seaworld, the stevie wonder concert and ill be going to the rock the bells concert on aug 16th. it will be sooo much fun! im going with a homegirl and we definitely lucked out on some good seats.
as much as i've been enjoying the summer. i've been busy with summer school. it's not too bad. my professors are not so bad and im learning a lot. i haven't been up to doing any art lately. im just experiencing one of those extended periods of time where it goes blank. i know that i really want to get back into it...but im just beat. maybe later this month it will come back.
doot doot doot. im tired. my bed awaits. nights yo.

aries spears
hella dope. aries spears gots skills. my good friend told me about him...too bad i missed his stand up show last weekend. i bet it was hella funny.
on another note, i watched my friend's performance in the city tonight (american conservatory theatre on geary to be exact). it was sooo good! i had no idea he could sing like that. there was one funny part where the girl accidentally hit my friend on the head with mic, and my friend's jaw dropped. haha...oopsies. but overall it was a great show - "songs for a new world."
